Accounting software for Curaçao

CORA is online accounting software for entrepreneurs and companies in Curaçao. Upload your bank statement or forward it to your own CORA address, take a photo of your receipts, and CORA reads them, matches them to your bank lines and keeps your books up to date.

Your OB return (6%, 7% and 9%) is ready per rate with the deadline on your dashboard; you copy the amounts into the tax portal. Guilders, dollars and euros sit in one set of books, each at that day's rate, and your accountant gets a free read-only login.

CORA for Curaçao, in four minutes

The real app, start to finish: your bank, your invoices, your tax return and your year-end.

OB, ready on the day

Every sale and purchase moves your OB the moment you book it. CORA watches the deadline and hands you the exact figures to file — no scramble at the end of the month.

Your bank, in automatically

Send in the statements your bank actually gives you — upload them, or let your bank email them in — and they book themselves. Guaranteed to work with the banks here.

Year-end, ready

Your jaarrekening builds itself from the books, with notes and signatures, ready 8 months after year-end.

How it works here

Every sale and purchase moves your OB position the moment you book it — no month-end scramble. CORA watches the deadline, warns you a week ahead, and on the day your return is finished: every rate on its own line, with the total you owe. You open the form at the Belastingdienst, copy those figures across, and you are done. CORA records what you filed and what you paid, so the next month starts from the right place.

Your bank

Your local bank — the one thing nobody else solved

Island banks do not offer a connection a package can use, so everyone else shrugs and leaves you typing. We did the opposite: CORA reads the statements your bank actually hands out, in the format it actually hands them out in. Upload it or let your bank email it in. It works, guaranteed.

Everything CORA does on Curaçao

The complete list, checked against the product — not a promise for later.

Omzetbelasting (OB)

  • OB at 6%, 7% and 9%, plus 0% and exempt — every sale and purchase moves your position the moment you book it.
  • Counted on the invoice date; monthly, quarterly or yearly, due by the 15th — a deadline on a weekend moves to the Monday.
  • Your return laid out per rate with the total to pay.
  • You copy the figures into the Belastingdienst portal; you mark the period as filed, and CORA warns you if the books change afterwards.
  • A customer who never pays: the OB stays off your return and is shown separately, with the date by which you ask for it back in writing (art. 9 LOB).
  • Importing trade goods? With your ruling switched on, half of the 9% OB paid at customs comes off your return; a surplus moves to the next one (art. 2a LOB).

Year-end and profit tax

  • Your profit tax return laid out the way PTL Online asks for it, ready to copy over.
  • Territorial regime: profit split into local and foreign, and the tax office's own IRRMA spreadsheet filled in.
  • Annual accounts — balance sheet, profit and loss, notes and result appropriation — built from the books and signed digitally by your directors, due 8 months after year-end.
  • CORA tells you whether your NV needs an external audit, from employees, assets and turnover.
  • Work in progress: the costs of unfinished projects move to the balance sheet at year-end.
  • A year only closes when every bank account, in every currency, matches its statements.

Your bank and getting paid

  • ACU, APC Bank, Banco di Caribe, MCB, Orco Bank, RBC Royal Bank, Vidanova Bank: CORA reads the statement your bank gives you — the PDF, or the MT940, CAMT, CSV or Excel export. Upload it, or let your bank email it to your CORA address.
  • Payment links through Sentoo (add-on): a QR code on the invoice and a pay button in your email — APC, Banco di Caribe, Orco and MCB.
  • A euro account connects live through Ponto, at no cost in CORA.

Every day, on every island

  • Purchase invoices and receipts read for you — e-invoices (UBL and CII) exactly — and matched to your bank lines with the reasons shown.
  • Invoices and quotes in your own style; quotes signed online; reminders and recurring invoices go out by themselves.
  • Your own CORA email address for bank statements and supplier invoices.
  • Guilders, dollars, euros and florins side by side, with exchange rates fetched every day.
  • Webshops connected — Shopify, WooCommerce, Square and Lightspeed — and your till: a photo of the Z-report, the till export, or Loyverse every night.
  • Reports, a free read-only login for your accountant, the whole year in one zip — and the CORA app for Android.
What CORA does not do hereIt prepares your OB and profit tax, but you submit them yourself in the Belastingdienst portal. There is no payroll calculation — CORA has the wage accounts and explains how to book them.
